Instructions for Connecting Your Account

Enter your WhatsApp number in WhatLingo and tap “Get Code.”

Then, go to WhatsApp via the notification, or by opening WhatsApp and going to: Settings > Linked Devices > Link Device > Link with phone number.

On the enter code page on WhatsApp, long press (hold down) on one of the boxes to paste the code.

IMPORTANT: When you see "Logging in", immediately switch back to WhatLingo right away.

Troubleshooting Tips

Be quick once you open WhatsApp! If you stay on WhatsApp for more than 30 seconds after leaving WhatLingo, WhatsApp may expire your code. So paste the code immediately and return to WhatLingo as soon as you see Logging In. 

Always keep the WhatLingo App open in the background.

Code generation not working? First, check that you've entered the correct phone number. Second, if you've tried more than 4 times in a row, WhatsApp may pause code generation. Wait an 1 hour and try again.
